Neo walks into the room with a bored look on his face. "Man this is going to be boring i wonder if we will get some talented people....." As he gets in to his starling he ponders about when he first used this machine all those years ago.

Ivankov walks into the examination room with a huge smile on his face. Winning or losing this fight means nothing as long as he gets in. He looks over to the other side of the room and spots an IS with what looks like one of the men who came and spoke to his family when he first used the IS
"So you're my opponent zen? vounderful" (I'm going to be typing out my words the way a German would pronounce them)

-That is going to get annoying fast-
Neo stares at this kid he was probably some upstart punk but a student is a student. "Hey kid get in that starling over there!" Neo points towards the left wall where a starling is in standby mode. "Hurry up i do not have all day!" Neo cracked his neck knowing that he has to go easy on this kid.

"Heh, whatever" (I'll stop the whole german thing, was stupid)
Ivankov walks over to the IS. He looks at the machine with awe, this was exact same machine that he moved the whole length of a small factory in a matter of seconds, this was going to be fun. He jumped into the IS and started it up. He was nervous but at the same time was very happy to be here.
"Winning or losing means nothing right now, all that matters is that we make this fun, lets go then"

After Neo hit this kid he strafed away then fired a beam right back at Neo. it glanced his shoulder but the damage was just the same. Neo was happy this kid showed some promise. So he continued to attack him with his beam saber.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Ivankov was begging to get angry but he had to keep his cool.

Ivankov easily dodges the attack and puts away his beam rifle and pulls out his beam sword

Neo dodges the attack as if nothing had happened at all. "You have lost but that was fun, damn these starlings are so rigid. Oh yeah you pass!" Neo was waiting for his reply.

Ivankov couldn't believe what just happened. He was sure that attack was going to hit, but he was still glad that he did so well.
"Well that was the most fun I've had in a long time. So now what"
Ivankov landed the Starling and exited it, stretching his body as he did

Neo jumps out of the starling and cracks his neck. "Well you see the academy does not open up for a little while so who knows. Me i am going to recharge these two Starlings for the next applicant." Neo then waves his hand backwards to the german. "Good luck to you Boy"

"I guess I'll go have a bit of a vacation, also is there anyway I can get back into one of these before the academy opens so I can get a bit of practice in"
Ivankov had a feeling that he would say no. But that fight was just to much fun and he needed to feel that rush once more. The Starling at his families workshop was only there as a heavy lifter as his Sister-in-law was the only other family member who could use it, and it was unarmed so that wouldn't help

Neo plugs a cable into the starling he used earlier, a it begins to recharge the annoying beast of burden. "Sorry kid no dice the equipment here is for the entrance exam only, but do not fret you will have lots of time to learn once classes start!" Neo then walks towards another cable. bending down he wondered why he missed earlier. "Listen kid do not rush into this if you do you may lose yourself!" Neo then picks up the cable and plugs it inside the other starling as it begins to recharge that one as well. "Still i am just a humble examiner, and you managed to pass my exam!"

Ivankov then walked out of the exam room and headed off to look around a bit
