This topic covers the use of passive abilities and one off abilities. These are both features included in generation 3 IS and above.

Passive abilities, are defencive systems or extra equipment that an Is possesses other than its preset weaponry. Unfortunately they consume a large amount of shield energy for what they do so continuos use is impossible.

One off abilities, are either performance enhancers or powerful super weapons that not only cost a lot but basically count as a last resort.

Note: this was just a basic summary both of these systems will be futher explained as we go on.
